In 2008, the VSA formed the Salesperson Advisory Committee that reports to the VSA Board of Directors. The Chair of the committee is a member of the VSA Board of Directors. VSA management team members attend the meetings. The committee members invite comments.

Motorcycle Dealers Advisory Committee
The VSA also formed an advisory committee for motorcycle dealers in 2008. This committee was discontinued in 2012 following the establishment of the PowerSports Division of the Automobile Retailers Association (ARA).
